Join the Greenfield School PTO for a special family field trip to Pitt's University Art Gallery! To celebrate Black History Month, the PTO is organizing a free field trip to see the exhibition Women of Visions: Celebrating 40 Years. Founded in 1981, Women of Visions is believed to be the longest-running collective of Black women artists in the United States. The 50 works in the exhibition span a range of media, from painting and sculpture to quilts and ceramics. Together, they attest to the powerful voices of Black women, and the unique identity of the WOV artists. Read more in this Pittsburgh City Paper article about opening night >>

This event is free for Greenfield School families, but spaces are limited due to Covid restrictions. Reservations are required. Transportation is not provided, but we will meet at Frick Fine Arts together. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
